ONE ARCHITECT TEN CITIES
Architect Kübra Mercan Harputluoğlu's solo exhibition titled ‘Lines, Graphics & The City’, which is designed by bringing together different disciplines, will open on 20th of November in Hugin&Munin Collective, a culture & art platform located in Kuzguncuk, with the organization of Artcrowdistanbul Gallery.
A look at the souls of cities through photographs
Kübra Mercan Harputluoglu, who travels frequently and documents the impact of architecture on her travels with the discipline of photography, has had many stops in her life.
Born in Tiel, the Netherlands in 1992, Harputluoglu worked with international companies and took part in different projects in Africa, USA, Asia and Europe during and after her master's degree in Architecture, Building and Planning at Eindhoven University of Technology.
10 cities in the exhibition;
Rotterdam, Copenhagen, Fethiye/Dalyan, Oslo, Paris, Istanbul, Brooklyn/NYC, Prague, Antwerp, Amsterdam, photographs and sketches from the artist's point of view.
An exhibition that appeals to different senses
The exhibition, which will be curated by Cenk Gençdis, a professional photographer and photography enthusiast, between 20th of November till 15th of December 2024, will feature Harputluoglu's sketches from her travels, photographs from different cities, natural stones used in architectural structures, and the music you will listen to while visiting the exhibition will turn the world around us into a Kübra Mercan Harputluoglu story.
The talks titled ‘Form and Shape in the Triangle of Human, Art and Architecture’ and ‘Architectural Photography Approaches in the Light of Exhibition Photographs’ to be organized in parallel with the exhibition will host leading names in their fields.

Curator Cenk Gençdis says the following about the exhibition: ‘...
Harputluoglu is a photography volunteer who weaves her own artistic cocoon by kneading her professional experience with her artistic perspective. In her exhibition Lines, Graphics & The City, she tells a city story by bringing different disciplines together. The sketches she has created over the years, her photographs from different cities, the natural stones used in architectural structures, the music you will listen to while visiting the exhibition transform the world around us into a Kübra Mercan Harputluoglu story... A visual story with us, with cities in its lines, a story that will find its meaning with the contribution of the audience in each line...
